PRACTITIONER POST GRAD INTENSIVE TRAINING

The Diploma Course – 6 days

This course is run over six days in total; either over an extended period (to allow for practice time) or over a more intensive period (pre-course reading required). Many new techniques are introduced as well as working with and using cold stones.

We are the first School in Ireland to have been awarded International Diploma status for this training.

Assessment is continuous, with final I.T.E.C. exams. Once successful, you will have an International Diploma, which will enable you to work world wide.

Stones of the Earth™

Since 1998 Martina Coyne has explored the ancient technique of using heated stones and Intuitive massage together in the healing process. This ancient technique has been practiced for centuries in many different cultures. Martina has trained and worked in New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Texas and Chicago, and was the first to introduce stonework to Ireland (featured on TV, radio and press).

Influenced by Native American techniques, this workshop is truly profound, enhancing deep healing on all levels and taking massage to a new dimension. Both heated and cold stones are used with oil to massage the body. This work is not an extension of massage as you already know it, but quite a different experience.

Stones of the Earth™ combines massage, movement, self awareness, energy work, developing intuition, and much more. This specific programme enables the practitioner to develop many new techniques and become expert in their field.

Participants must hold a recognised Diploma in Massage Therapy, (ITEC or comparable). Good massage skills and client care are basic requirements.

After training, participants will be qualified to practice on clients only. Further teacher training will be necessary before being qualified to teach any aspect of the course as presented above.
